PROCIDYS develops innovative and sustainable agri-food processes. Our laboratory is equipped to carry out laboratory trials on biomass processing, including extraction, fractionation, purification, separation and drying. We specialize in the extraction of proteins, lipids, polyphenols and other compounds of interest.
Thanks to our expertise, we can optimize enzymatic hydrolysis processes to obtain hydrolysates and peptides with biological and functional properties for various sectors, including food, feed, cosmetics and nutraceuticals.
Biorefinery equipment and processes
PROCIDYS has advanced laboratory equipment to carry out biomass transformation tests:
- Reactors: For hydrolysis, extraction and/or fractionation of bioactive compounds.
- Filtration, centrifugation and sieving: For extract separation and purification.
- Crossflow filtration module: using industrial membranes for nano-, ultra- and micro-filtration.
- Drying equipment: to preserve extract properties.
Analysis and optimization
PROCIDYS has high-performance equipment for analyzing the products obtained, including the determination of proteins and lipids (Kjeldahl, HPLC).
Laboratory tests enable us to assess yields and the technical and economic feasibility of our processes, ensuring cost-effective, environmentally-friendly solutions for our customers.
